Fiction
Creating a good story requires more than an idea. It needs both an overview and clear detail. Mythologies Press will help you develop and write the fiction you imagine. Writing fiction really is a process involving interaction and imagination.
Novel: Novels normally fall into a specific genre and often have a relationship to the genre they reflect. Writing a novel involves having a strong outline of the story, an insight into characters and attention to theme, style and genre. It is necessary to identify the narrator, specify the setting or period, keep the dialogue interesting and appropriate. Creating a novel may require interaction between you and the ghostwriter to produce a quality result. The process of creating a novel, usually not less than 50,000 words, is normally not less than 12 weeks.
Short Story: The structure of a short story is often a simple plot, a single main character, a central metaphor and a twist near the end. It is, of course, characterized by legth, usually not more than 5,000 words.
Screenplay (Movie Script): A film is a series of pictures and a film script is created as a series of scenes. There are often more than 100 scenes in a screenplay, each one including a setting, a description of the action and dialogue (if there is any). To write a screenplay requires a great deal of detail, a good sense of the characters and a very strong idea of what things look like.
Fiction is a very rewarding process. It's a great feeling to express an idea. Our purpose is to give you a piece that is both interesting and extremely marketable.
